Ron.
I just listened to "Hold My Beer" and loved it.
Come to Scotland in the Park and I'll definitely find something for you to do,
Ern

Stirling Thompson:
Welcome Ron! It really is a small world. My name is Stirling (with an i) and I was in the Corps and went through PI in 1966 then worked for the US Army as a computer specialist for 22 years and my Thompson claim is also through an illegitimate child. I don't play an instrument but I did sing semi-professionally and my late cousin Les Richards played in the Air Force band at Colorado Springs and taught music at Orono, Maine.

Yes, very small world indeed...lol.  I have only met two other people with our first name, and you are the second!  Much respect for going through PI when you did, my experience was a cakewalk in my time comparably...lol. Semper Fi brother. /cheers.

Hi Ron!

I've been doing a little digging here & there on your names and dates. From what I can tell, it seems Burghwallis is referred to as Doncaster. Do you find this to be true? I have found some things mentioning a William Thompson with mother Anne Thompson also linked to a Charles & George Thompson but the dates I have for birth year are 1787. If you like, I will post the links to them on here.
