Today was my son's last day of high school ( they grow up so fast!) and so to celebrate he decided to wear my kilt! We got up early and I had to help him get dressed (been years since that happened)---since there's a small difference in our size I had to use about a dozen safety pins, and no matter how hard we tried, the kilt hung below his knees, but we got it to work.
He looked pretty good and I took pictures.

I let him drive my car just in case they sent him home

Hey Booner,
Boy, you're speaking the truth when you say that the kids grow up so fast...my little boy just turned 43 :o
And your son is so handsome in his Dad's kilt. Thanks for posting the photos!

That's way cool Booner. My son has worn his kilt to school a couple of times, including the prom. He's probably going to wear it to graduation Wednesday, as he's playing bagpipes in the ceremony.

Anyone going to get us some pictures of your son playing his pipes??? We can start a real rogue's gallery with member's offspring! ;D
It's so great to see the young people WANTING to get involved in their Scottish history and culture! Good on the parents, too!

So my son comes home from school after wearing the kilt--He's all excited!!
He says "Dad! You're right! The girls did the kilt! Even the stuck-up came up to me and told me how sexy I looked!"
He now wants his own kilt
(sigh) They grow up so fast!

.......and I know just the place to get one!! ;D ::)
Maybe a sport kilt until he decides whether it's ENOUGH of a girl-magnet to justify the investment of the "full 9 yards"..............
That's cute though........ start saving, dad!

Here he is in one of his senior pictures with his pipes:

These images are kind of misleading, cuz he usually makes funny faces when he sees a camera. ;)

He looks a lot like you, Michael (but without your smile!)
I'm so glad they let him have a senior picture taken with his pipes! They used to be so stuck-up about what you could/couldn't have or wear in a senior picture!
Does he wear about the same size kilt as you...........or are there lots of safety pins somewhere???

Hey Michael,
Be they Dads or Sons, there is absolutely no shortage of handsome men around here! ::)
