Title: Where did you get your kilt?
Post by: IanKiser on July 31, 2015, 06:04:43 PM
I am not sure if this is the right place for it or not, but where did everyone get their Thompson tartan kilts? I know of USA Kilts, I want to get the dress blue in wool from them. I just recently like it arrived in the mail today, got a Thompson Camel from http://www.highlandkilt.com/ and I am not sure I am totally happy with it. I may have to wear it out a bit break it in to fully know, but I was wondering where else did everyone get their kilts?

Hi Ian!  My husband got his from Mary also. She gets them thru Locharron. She can get you a better deal on the price I believe.
Paul loves his...and it is beautiful.

Ian

How is the kilt situation going? Did you find the one you like?

Yeah I am just waiting for it to get here. I ordered it from a place I have used before and like the way they make their kilts.

Celtic Croft Edinbugh, Scotland. Royal Mile.  They usually have good kilt makers at the larger highland games too.
