Sorry I'm so late in adding my thanks, Scott!  My computer took a 'flying leap' and it's taken me most of the week to reformat and reinstall all my programs and files. Arghhh!!!   I have tried to pop onto Tom's computer and post once in a while, but I missed this topic until today!

Great pictures!  I think we should plan a mass visit to Scotland if we get our arms in a few years...that would be a great time for the "Thoms" to get together on Scottish soil and celebrate!  Start saving your pennies (what few the government isn't taking).

I like the pictures. All of us, who claim Scottish blood, find these and similar pictures so compelling and in my own case cause a lump in my throat.
Please continue with other random pictures. Maybe some of us will be able to visit about the time we get our Society ARMS.

Beautiful pictures Scott, Thanks. Looks like home to me! I have to admit the one of the falls especially intrigued me and I looked at it several times, figuring out the route I would negotiate in my canoe or my daughter's kayak. I could FEELit!  Karma

Thanks for posting the pictures Scott.  I found the Cushnie Churchyard photo very interesting with the gnarled tree.  Like some others on the board they feel like home to me.  Must be genetic.  ;)  It's always amazing to me when I see photos of Great Britain and how clean everything is even though it is so ancient, unlike the litter we see disgracing our US highways and byways, especially in the South.   >:(

Thanks for the photos Scott!

I can almost picture myself in that little stone cottage in Glenshee (if only in my
dreams)
