Several weeks ago on Electricscotland.com Frank Shaw wrote about the missing plaques on the Robert Burns statue in Chicago. I did some searching and found some old pictures and an article published in the New York times in the 1800's . I sent them to Frank and mentioned that I had an original print published in 1896 commemorating Robert Burns passing 100 years prior in 1796. I had scanned the print not long ago. Frank asked me to send him a copy and write a short family history . The article has been published in this week's electric Scotland newsletter 11/06/2009.
