Aren't these some of the GREATEST evidence of coordination and cooperation between man and his dogs???  This comes out every year and I WATCH it every year! It still amazes me.

When Tom and I lived in Michigan, we had a flock of about 150 ewes and, usually, two working dogs. I taught them to gently hold an individual sheep, get a designated sheep out of the flock, move them from one field to another, sort some out and hold the others, separate them from the cattle, etc. but I wouldn't have had a clue how to train them to do this!

Thank you for posting it!
