Grandfather Mountain Games
« on: July 02, 2015, 06:00:40 PM »
I know we don't have a tent there this year, but any of the clan going besides me? I plan on going probably that Saturday and maybe staying the whole day and into the night for the concert.

Hi Ian -

I don't know of anyone planning to go, but we have quite a few members in North and South Carolina...... I've spoken with the games and I think we may be able to get in next year...are you willing to help work a tent if we can?

Of course I will help with the tent. By this time next year I should have a good bit of vacation days saved up as well and I could stay the whole weekend lol.

Yay Ian!! Someone willing to participate! You are a rarity these days, it seems. My daughter says her generation sucks lol. I don't know about that but it sure is hard to find people that will actually participate...not just be onlookers. Glad you're on here Ian. May I ask your age?

The games were fun. I am looking forward to us having a "booth" there. Maybe even right next to the McTavish's lol.
