Wear a kilt on a Harley? Not a chance for the same reason the ladies dont wear
skirts while  riding one..Besides it aint legal to flash the genteel folks ya know.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't try it, but three thing come immediatly to mind; Wind burn, road rash, and in cold weather, shrinkage! (I might loose my blue ribbon!)

Maybe I should have said it aint legal to be flashin' the good citizens of the
community and the local constabulary wouldn't like it.
Wind burn, and you forgot "SUN BURN" ouch.Road rash would be nothin' but bad.
Shrinkage? You'd be ok in the summer, but I've been on a lot of Christmas toy runs
where you would loose your  blue ribbon real quick like.  :o ;D ;D

WHATS THE PROBLEM? I'VE OFTEN WORN THE KILT ON A MOTORCYCLE......YOU JUST JAM YOUR SPORRAN UNDER YOUR APPENDAGES AND AGAINST THE TANK AND MY KILTED GIRLFRIEND(APART FROM DANCERS- ARGYLL KILT WEARING WOMEN DONT WEAR UNDERWEAR EITHER.....SO IM ASSURED I OBVIUOSLY WOULDNT KNOW(!)   ...) AGAINST MY BACK. CHOICE OF BIKE CAN BE A BONUS TOO, I HAD BRITISH AND KRAUT BIKES WITH HUGE TANKS.THERES A GLASGOW MOTORCYCLE GANG -THE BLUE ANGELS- WHO WOULD BE PERSONA NON GRATAIS IN OAKLAND AS TOO VIOLENT.....AND THEY ALL WEAR KILTS AND LEATHER JACKETS WITH 'COLOURS' OVER.SAYING THAT; I ONCE MET SOME OF THEM IN THE HIGHLANDS WHEN MY SNATCH BROKE DOWN. THEY FIXED IT- TREMENDOUS MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE-AND GAVE ME A CYCLE ESCORT TO THE CAMP GATES BEFORE TURNING OFF WITH A WAVE. THE GUARDHOUSE ALMOST HAD KITTENS!
