Hi Guys -

Yep, that's the clan members' submitted genealogy. It SHOULD be much larger, but for some reason we have trouble getting people to send in their family info! Now you know why we really want them to send them - it could help so many find their missing ancestors!

Good idea on links for some of the other DNA sites, Mike.  I'll see if I can track them down and put them in the LINKS section of the website.  Do you have a copy of your DNA?  We have been comparing DNAs and have found 5 families of Thompsons now who are related back to Kilbirnie, Scotland. We have others who we have yet to connect to another member, but the more of the test results we can gather, the better chance we have of finding matches.
Would you be willing to share your DNA results with us (tomaryfarm@yahoo.com)?

Unfortunately, most members don't include their spouse's last name/birth info!  Even if you are joining the society and opt to join as a single, giving us the spouse info might help people looking like you are.  Hope the rootsweb database helps....  :)

The Clan Thompson database is perfect.  Thank you for all that hard work.  It took me a couple of months to send mine in because I didn't know who to start with.  I  kept changing my mind and then got busy with other things.
