New Supporting members.
« on: February 19, 2011, 11:24:40 AM »
;D  Please join me in welcoming two new supporting members to to the society:

Carolyn Guest of NC.  David Thompson was her great grandfather.

Ann Lambert-Anzo of CA. She has a lengthy ancestor trail back to George Thomson of Scotland. (also has a small picture of family arms - 1760) We have found some references for her, and are in the process of trying to fill in the gaps.

I am looking forward to seeing both of these ladies posting their genealogy on the forum.

Ann & Carolyn,

Welcome to the party!

Post your trees and then take a look around at others. You never know who you're going to find!

Welcome!  Are you from the part of NC where they say, "y'all" or "you'ins"?
Cheers!

Sorry I'm so late to the party!  As you read in the email directing you to the newsletter online, I've been a busy woman and am FINALLY caught up!

WOO HOO!
WELCOME to all our new members! Our family continues to grow! Craig is our first South African member and we hope he will spread the word about Clan Thom(p)son Society there. We've had queries before, but he's our first SA member! :)

Please, you found us online, now JOIN us online! Register on the forum and start some new topics, post in old ones, ask questions.....whatever!  We need new insights and ideas to keep discussions going - there are lots of Thoms out there 'lurking' on the board and we want them to come on board and let us know what they are looking for, what info they have on their genealogy, etc.

A warm welcome to our cousins in North Carolina! Haven't been there since I was stationed at MCAS Cherry Point way back in 1970.
