2010 Games and Events

Lowell Thompson
   Tells me he will be competing is the Phoenix Scottish Gathering and Highland Games, Feb 21-22.
     I urge those who are able to enjoy the warmth of Phoenix in Feb to make it a point to cheer for him on the athletic field.
   He will also be at Alma (end of May).
        and Kansas in mid June.  Look for him in Thompson tartan.

Met a couple of Lowell's friends and competitors at a party recently. The said he was a bit sure of himself, but a good friend anyway. (Lowell, you listening?) One was a giant of a fellow and they both were athletes in the games. Didn't get their names, but here's a photo of the big one picking up one of the partygoers.



A good time was had by all.
